Dr Judith Simpson is a Lecturer at the School of Design, University of Leeds. Her academic work bridges material culture, textile history, and death practices, with a focus on how clothing reflects societal understandings of mortality. She also contributes to university administration research and explores amateur filmmaking as a social history resource.
