Judith Schmid

Judith Schmid is a Swiss mezzo-soprano and Professor of Vocal Performance at the Lucerne School of Music (since 2017). With over 20 years as a sought-after soloist at prestigious venues like the Zurich Opera House and Nuremberg State Theatre, she specializes in roles such as Suzuki (Madama Butterfly), Mescalina (Le Grand Macabre), and Wagnerian mezzo-soprano parts (Erda, Waltraute).
