معرفی
Prof. Dr. Judith Masthoff is a Professor of Human-Centered Computing at Utrecht University's Faculty of Science. Her research integrates Artificial Intelligence, User Modeling, and Recommender Systems to address challenges in healthcare, education, sports, and cultural heritage. She leads projects on adaptive systems, team formation algorithms, and bias mitigation in AI.
Research Focus:
- Designing personalized systems for behavior change (e.g., sports training, healthcare interventions)
- Developing fair AI models with applications in mental health diagnostics
- Optimizing crowdsourced team formation using digital nudges and personality profiling
- Advancing methods for user-centered adaptation in collaborative environments
Her recent publications (2020-2022) demonstrate a strong trend toward applied AI ethics, particularly in bias detection for healthcare algorithms, and virtual collaboration systems for education and remote work. She co-organized the GMAP 2022 workshop on Group Modeling and serves on PhD examination committees.
