Judith Eissenberg is Professor of Music at Boston Conservatory at Berklee, coordinating chamber music programs and collaborating with Silkroad artists. As co-founder of the Grammy-nominated Lydian String Quartet (1980-2022), she earned international acclaim for interpretive depth.
Research spans Andean, Korean Gugak, and Malian traditions, supported by Center Stage Korea and Whiting Foundation grants. Awards include the Naumburg Award and prizes at Evian, Banff, and Portsmouth competitions. She holds an M.M. from Yale and B.M. from SUNY Purchase.
