Judite Goncalves is an Assistant Professor in Global Health Systems Research at the School of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London. Her email contact is j.goncalves@imperial.ac.uk. She is affiliated with the Public Health Policy Evaluation Unit.
Her research focuses on health economics and policy at the intersection of health systems and environmental/climate change impacts. She applies quasi-experimental econometric methods to evaluate public policies, particularly in low- and middle-income countries like Indonesia and Brazil. Key areas include climate events, environmental exposures, and green transition strategies.
Prior to her current role, she held academic positions at Nova School of Business & Economics (Portugal), Queen Mary University of London, and the Geneva School of Economics & Management (Switzerland), where she earned her PhD in Econometrics.
