Judie Bamber

Judie Bamber is an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Fine Art Graduate Program at Otis College of Art and Design (Los Angeles, CA) since 2013. Her artistic practice explores intersections of female pleasure, feminism, gender, and sexuality through formal techniques in drawing, painting, and photography. She received her MFA from Lesley University College of Art and Design and her BFA from the California Institute of the Arts.

• Awards include the 2012 Richard Diebenkorn Teaching Fellowship, 2008 California Community Foundation Mid-Career Artist Grant, and 2007 City of Los Angeles Individual Artist Fellowship.
• Her work is featured in major institutions like the Hammer Museum (Los Angeles), San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and Institute of Contemporary Art (Los Angeles).
