Jude Kong is an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto, cross-appointed to the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, the Department of Mathematics, and the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation. He directs the Artificial Intelligence and Mathematical Modeling Lab (AIMMlab) and leads international networks like ACADIC and AI4PEP.

His research focuses on AI and mathematical modeling for public health decision-making, socio-ecological challenges, and pandemic response. He led a 52+ researcher team during the COVID-19 pandemic and founded AI4PEP, a network spanning 16 countries.
Recent publications include interdisciplinary analyses of monkeypox epidemiology, pandemic modeling, and applications of big data in cardiology. Awards include York University Research Leader Awards, Canada’s Innovation Research Leaders (2021), and the York University President’s Emerging Research Leadership Award (2023).
