Juan Medina Revilla is a Professor of Practice in Architecture at Tulane University and a PhD candidate at the Technical University of Madrid (ETSAM). He holds a Master of Architecture from Polytechnic University of Madrid and ENSA Paris-Belleville, and an MRes in Advanced Design. His academic career includes teaching roles at Tulane University and the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Professionally, he is a registered architect since 2015 and co-founder of Salazar Sequero Medina, a practice based in Madrid, Berlin, and Lima.

His research focuses on the interplay between Danish and Bay Region architecture post-WWII, redefining concepts of 'limit' across scales. Projects emphasize regional material culture and global-local architectural dialogues. Notable works include the Seoul Biennale Pavilion (2023) and the 1st Prize-winning Venta Pilin housing project (2022).
Awards include the ARQUIA Grant and shortlistings for MCHAP and ARQUIA/Próxima Emerging Practices awards. His work explores affordable housing, vernacular architecture, and critical regionalism through built projects and academic publishing.
