João Silva is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Economy at the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, Iscte - University Institute of Lisbon. He is also an Integrated Researcher at DINÂMIA'CET-Iscte - Center for Studies on Socioeconomic Change and Territory, where his work focuses on governance, economy, and citizenship. His academic roles include teaching across bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD programs in political economy, development studies, and economics.
