Jozef Luptáčik

Jozef Luptáčik is an Assistant Professor of Clarinet at the Faculty of Music and Dance (VŠMU), specializing in clarinet performance and chamber music. He has held roles as first solo clarinetist of the Slovak Philharmonic since 1993 and has been an academic staff member at VŠMU since 2011. His career spans solo performances with major orchestras (e.g., Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra, B. Warchal Slovak Chamber Orchestra) and chamber ensembles like the Slovak Wind Quintet and Bratislava Wind Octet.

Research interests focus on clarinet performance techniques, classical music pedagogy, and Slovak musical heritage. Notable awards include the 2004 Golden Note Award and Yamaha Scholarship (1993).
