Joyce Z. Lindorff is a Professor of Keyboard Studies at Temple University's Boyer College of Music and Dance. She holds degrees from The Juilliard School (DMA, MM), University of Southern California (MM), and Sarah Lawrence College (BA). As an internationally acclaimed harpsichordist, Lindorff has performed globally and collaborated with renowned early music ensembles like Hesperus and Tempesta di Mare.

Lindorff's research focuses on historical performance practice, European music in 17th- and 18th-century China, and the harpsichord repertoire of George Washington's family. She has published extensively, including her Baroque Keyboard Performance Practice Anthology co-authored in Chinese with Dr. Zhu Di.
Her recordings span early and contemporary harpsichord music on labels such as Titanic, Centaur, and BCM&D. Lindorff has held teaching and research positions at Cornell University, Hong Kong Baptist University, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts.
- Scientific Awards: Pro Musicis Foundation solo recitalist award, National Endowment for the Arts solo recitalist award, and two Fulbright Professorships.
Lindorff is an honorary professor at Shanghai Conservatory and China Conservatory, where she pioneered harpsichord programs. Her work bridges Western and Chinese musical traditions through performance and scholarship.
