Joyce Z. Lindorff is a Professor of Keyboard Studies at Temple University's Boyer College of Music and Dance. She holds degrees from The Juilliard School (DMA, MM), University of Southern California (MM), and Sarah Lawrence College (BA). As an internationally acclaimed harpsichordist, Lindorff has performed globally and collaborated with renowned early music ensembles like Hesperus and Tempesta di Mare.

Lindorff's research focuses on historical performance practice, European music in 17th- and 18th-century China, and the harpsichord repertoire of George Washington's family.
