Joyce Kling is an Associate Professor and Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Languages and Literature (SOL) at Lund University, Sweden. She is affiliated with the English Studies department and maintains her office in room SOL:H331a at Helgonabacken 12, Lund. Her professional activities span research, teaching, and academic leadership within the field of language education.
Dr. Kling's primary research interests focus on the integration of content and language in educational settings. Her work specifically examines English-medium instruction (EMI), Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), and the dynamics of the international classroom. She also conducts significant research in language assessment and language teacher leadership and administration. With a career spanning multiple roles including ESL & EFL teacher, program director, administrator, teacher trainer, researcher, materials developer, and consultant, she brings extensive practical experience to her academic work.
