Joy Malone

Joy Malone is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Art and Design at St. John's University's College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. A professional fine art photographer, she freelances for Reuters and operates Joy Malone Photography. Her work focuses on nighttime landscapes and has been featured in major publications like the New York Times and Wall Street Journal. She has exhibited globally, sold fine art photographs internationally, and contributed to academic curricula through her photography series “The American Dream”, which is taught in Master’s-level photography courses.

Malone holds a BA in Philosophy and Photography from St. John’s University and an MFA in Fine Art Photography from the Academy of Art University.
