Joy M. Suder

Joy M. Suder, J.D., is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Juvenile Justice Clinic at Creighton University School of Law. She practices law in Nebraska with extensive experience in juvenile defense, including public defense, private practice, and academic legal clinic leadership.

Her research focuses on juvenile justice reform, legal ethics in child representation, and criminal defense strategies. She actively trains legal professionals nationally and serves on the Gault Center’s National Advisory Board as Co-regional Director for the North Central U.S.

Suder contributes to academic discourse through presentations at institutions including University of Nebraska-Omaha, University of Memphis, and regional law associations. Key collaborations include advisory roles with Nebraska State Bar Association and juvenile justice reform initiatives.
