Dr. Joy Hogan is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Wegmans School of Nursing, St. John Fisher University. With over 20 years of experience in pediatric nursing, she specializes in palliative and hospice care, critical care, and community health. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Rochester (2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Roberts Wesleyan College.

Her clinical expertise spans roles in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Pediatric Cardiac Care Center (PCCC), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and CompassionNet/Rochester Regional Health. She currently teaches undergraduate courses such as NURS312 (Palliative and End of Life Care) and NURS429 (Population and Community Health), and co-developed a new Population Health and Wellness I course launching in 2025.
