Joy Dunlop

Joy Dunlop is a Gaelic language tutor at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, teaching introductory and advanced courses (An Cùrsa Inntrigidh and An Cùrsa Adhartais) along with summer programs. She holds an honors degree in Gaelic Language and Culture from the same institution.

Her expertise encompasses Gaelic performing arts including traditional singing and dance, with particular interest in Argyll regional songs. As conductor of Còisir Alba, she led Scotland's first Eurovision choir entry.

Beyond academia, she presents Gaelic programming including SpeakGaelic and weather broadcasts for BBC Scotland/ALBA.
