Jovana Capric is a teaching assistant at Alfa BK University's Faculty of Foreign Languages since the 2023/2024 academic year, with prior appointments at the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Political Sciences (2021/2022) and Faculty of Philology (2022/2023).
Her educational foundation includes a distinguished undergraduate degree from the University of Belgrade's Department of English Studies (average grade 9.31), where she is currently pursuing her master's degree. This academic journey began with volunteer teaching at the Association of Students with Disabilities and Youth Association 'Moj kruz'.
Her research focuses intensely on applied linguistics and English language teaching methodology, complemented by expertise in modern English, theoretical linguistics, and translation. Her pedagogical approach integrates current political and social events into conversation-based curricula, reflecting her commitment to practical language application.
Professionally, she actively shapes educational standards through committee work for national English competitions and drives student engagement via the networking club she founded. Her leadership extends to conference organization within the Society for Foreign Languages and Literature of Serbia, where she serves as secretary for university language educators.
