Melina Nikolić is a Professor at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Alfa BK University, where she has worked since 2013. She holds a Ph.D. in English studies from the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Philology. Her academic roles include serving as an elected member of the Sector Council for Arts and Humanities (since 2024).

Her research focuses on Discourse Analysis, Pragmatics, and Applied Linguistics, with a specialization in Critical Discourse Analysis and Translation Studies. She has published extensively on confrontational discourse, media representation, and gendered language patterns.
Recent publications (2023) include analyses of religious translation strategies and political discourse, while earlier works examined collocation patterns and pragmatic awareness in language teaching. She also co-edits Reči, a journal for language, literature, and culture.
Melina Nikolić actively participates in international conferences and has organized academic events like the Language, Literature, and Culture conferences. She serves in professional associations including the Serbian Society for Foreign Languages and Literatures and the Society for Applied Linguistics of Serbia.
