Jovan Bogosavljević is an Associate Professor of Violin at the Faculty of Arts, University of Niš. He holds a Master's degree from the Faculty of Music Arts in Belgrade and the Royal Conservatory in Brussels. His career spans performances with renowned orchestras and conductors across Europe, Asia, and the Americas, including collaborations with the European Quartet 'Basiona Amorosa' and the quintet 'Beltango'.
Notable performances include soloist roles with the National Pekin Symphony Orchestra in China, the Niš Symphony Orchestra, and the Bulgarian National Symphony Orchestra. He has participated in prestigious festivals such as the LEDAMUS Festival in Serbia and the Planetarni Festival Apolonia in Bulgaria.
Bogosavljević is an active educator, conducting masterclasses in Mostar, Lipovac, and Tuzla, focusing on violin and chamber music techniques. His research interests center on violin performance, classical repertoire interpretation, and pedagogical methods in string instruments.
Recipient of major awards, he has been recognized for his contributions to music education and performance, including the 'Best Young Artist' award (2006) and 'Best Performer' distinction (2012).
