Joungbin Lim is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at Troy University's College of Arts and Sciences in Alabama. Previously, he served as an Assistant Professor at Elizabeth City State University before joining Troy in 2015.

His research focuses on metaphysics, particularly personal identity and its intersections with philosophy of religion and philosophy of mind. Additional interests include ethics, epistemology, and Asian philosophy.
Recent publications analyze theological metaphysics, animalism, physicalism, and modal epistemology. Articles address topics like Christological identity, the Too Many Thinkers Problem, and normative epistemology.
