Josua Handerer

Josua Handerer serves as a Lecturer at Psychologische Hochschule Berlin (PHB) and Head of the Licensing Training in Systemic Therapy, where he is establishing systemic therapy as a third core method alongside existing approaches. He is a certified systemic counselor/therapist (Helm Stierlin Institute Heidelberg) and psychological psychotherapist specializing in behavioral therapy.

His academic background spans psychology, theology, and German studies at the universities of Eichstätt, Würzburg, and Vienna, culminating in a Dipl.-Psych. degree.

Dr. Handerer's research centers on systemic therapy's radical resource orientation and theoretical foundations in constructivism and cybernetics. Key interests include:
