Jost Reinecke

Prof. Dr. Jost Reinecke is a Professor of Quantitative Methods of Empirical Social Research at Bielefeld University, Faculty of Sociology. He holds affiliations with the Center for Statistics, Bielefeld Center for Data Science, and serves on the Executive Board of the Bielefeld Graduate School in History and Sociology. His education includes a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Giessen (1990) and post-doctoral qualification from the University of Münster (1996).

Research interests focus on rational choice theories, longitudinal and cross-sectional classification modeling, juvenile delinquency development, health behaviors in adolescents, and advanced multiple imputation techniques for complex datasets.
