معرفی
Dr. Josipa Skelin Ilić is a Researcher at the Ruđer Bošković Institute, affiliated with the Laboratory of Molecular Virology and Bacteriology under the Division of Molecular Medicine. Her work bridges molecular virology and cancer biology, focusing on viral oncogenesis and cellular signaling pathways in hematological malignancies.
Education:
- PhD in Molecular Biology, University of Zagreb (2018)
- Master’s in Molecular Biology, University of Zagreb (2014)
- Bachelor’s in Molecular Biology, University of Zagreb (2011)
Research Interests:
- Human Papillomavirus (HPV) oncoproteins and their role in cervical and oropharyngeal cancers
- Notch signaling pathway in chronic lymphocytic leukemia and multiple myeloma
- Regulation of apoptosis and autophagy in viral and cancer contexts
- Cellular communication networks and therapeutic targeting
Publication Trends: Her recent work (2021–2024) emphasizes HPV-induced malignancies, with a focus on E6 protein mechanisms and Notch pathway interactions in hematological cancers. She explores how viral proteins disrupt host signaling and investigates biomarkers for leukemia prognosis.
Labs & Collaborations: She is embedded in the Laboratory of Molecular Virology and Bacteriology, collaborating on translational projects involving HPV oncology, leukemia signaling, and photobiology. Her work spans international conferences and multidisciplinary teams in Croatia and abroad.
