Josie Phillips is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology, focusing on interdisciplinary approaches to child welfare and social work. She holds an MSc in Child Forensic Studies from Leeds University and has extensive professional experience as a Social Worker and Training Officer for Local Authority Children’s Services and the NSPCC.
