Joshua Pollet

Dr. Joshua Pollet is Professor of Finance and Associate Chair at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign's Gies College of Business, holding the A Robert and Helen P Seass Faculty Fellowship. His research examines market efficiency anomalies, behavioral finance phenomena, and alternative investment vehicles.

His core research interests include asset pricing anomalies, short-selling constraints, options market predictability, private equity performance, and the impact of demographic shifts on corporate finance decisions. Recent work focuses on FinTech lending platforms and information transmission between derivatives markets.
