Joshua Meisel is an Assistant Professor of Biology and holds the Ting Tsung and Wei Fong Chao Endowed Chair in Neuroscience at Brandeis University. He leads the Meisel Lab, focusing on mitochondrial genetics, metabolism, and their roles in neurodegenerative diseases. His research combines C. elegans genetics with mitochondrial biochemistry to identify therapeutic strategies for mitochondrial dysfunction.
