Joshua Cannon is a Part-Time Lecturer in the Department of Classics at the University of Pittsburgh, affiliated with the David C. Frederick Honors College. His career spans military service as an Arabic cryptologic linguist in the Marine Corps, academic research in Near Eastern archaeology, and teaching since 2018.
