Josh Rabinowitz

Josh Rabinowitz is a Lecturer at the Conservatory of Music within Brooklyn College’s School of Visual, Media and Performing Arts. He is also a Professor at The New School in New York City since 2008 and has held adjunct professor roles at New York University Steinhardt, Drexel University, and Tufts University.

His expertise lies at the intersection of music, media, and branding, with a focus on media scoring, music curation, and commercial sound supervision.

Scientific Awards:

• Inaugural President of the Cannes Lions Music Jury (2016)

Rabinowitz has produced or supervised over 10,000 tracks for brands, TV, and cinema. He founded the Brooklyn Music Experience consultancy after resigning from Grey Group in 2019 and serves as a thought leader in music branding and media scoring.
