Josephine Czechowicz

Dr. Josephine Czechowicz is an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology at the UCSF School of Medicine, specializing in Pediatric Otolaryngology. She holds roles at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, serving patients in San Francisco and Oakland. Her expertise includes pediatric hearing loss, sleep apnea, vascular anomalies, and global surgical education. Dr. Czechowicz completed her MD at Stanford University, followed by residency in Otolaryngology and a fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Awards: NIH Fogarty Scholar (2009), Global Health Seed Grant (2013), and humanitarian grants for surgical training in sub-Saharan Africa.
