Joseph Pelzman is a Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics, College of Arts and Sciences, George Washington University. He has been a faculty member since 1980 and is an internationally recognized expert in international trade policy, trade law economics, and the economies of the Middle East, North Africa, and transition states. He has held numerous visiting and senior scholarly appointments across the globe, including at Harvard, Hebrew University, and Renmin University.
