Joseph Park

Dr. Joseph Park is an Associate Professor and Chief of the Foot and Ankle Division in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Virginia (UVA). He serves as the team foot and ankle surgeon for UVA Athletics and is the Associate Director of the Foot and Ankle Fellowship program. His clinical and research expertise focuses on sports-related injuries, tendon transfers, Achilles tendinopathy, ankle instability, and biomechanical properties of orthopedic implants. Dr. Park emphasizes a patient-centered approach, prioritizing non-operative treatments before surgery.
