Joseph Nguyen

Joseph Nguyen, DO, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neurology at Penn State University's College of Medicine, specializing in the Division of Epilepsy. His clinical focus includes inpatient neurology and epilepsy care, while his research emphasizes bioinformatics, electronic medical record optimization, and quality improvement initiatives. He is board-certified in Epilepsy and Psychiatry & Neurology.

Education: DO from Touro University (2012), Neurology Residency and Internship at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center (2013-2016), and prior degrees including MS (Georgetown, 2007) and dual BS in Chemistry and Biology from UC Irvine (2004).
