Joseph Mills is a Professor of Humanities and Writing in the University of North Carolina School of the Arts Division of Liberal Arts. Holding the Susan Burress Wall Distinguished Professorship in the Humanities, he combines teaching with a prolific career as a poet and author. His work spans genres, including poetry collections and short fiction, while his research bridges family dynamics, daily life, and cultural intersections in art and wine.
