Joseph Malbrough serves as Lecturer of Dance in the Conservatory of Dance at Purchase College since 2010 and concurrently teaches in the Graded Level Ballet Division at Ballet Academy East, New York City since 2005.
His expertise centers on classical ballet technique and performance, forged through decades of professional experience as a principal dancer with Chicago City Ballet, Ballet Chicago, L’Opéra de Lausanne (Switzerland), Makarova and Company, Pennsylvania Ballet, and Fort Worth Ballet. His teaching methodology integrates performance artistry with technical precision, emphasizing historical ballet repertoire and rehearsal practices.
