Professor Joyce specializes in international macroeconomics with emphasis on capital flow dynamics between advanced and emerging economies, current/financial account linkages, and systemic vulnerabilities like bank crises. He connects theoretical frameworks to real-world issues such as pandemic responses and transnational pollution through his research on global public goods.
