Joseph J. Bucci is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Business, Leadership & Management Department at Regent University’s College of Arts & Sciences. He holds a DBA from Anderson University, an MBA from West Chester University, and a B.A. in Political Science from William Paterson University. His research focuses on redemptive leadership, faith-influenced management, and second-chance opportunities in organizational settings.
Dr. Bucci has authored two influential books: Redemptive Leadership: Offering Second Chances as a Value-Added Management Practice (2016) and Redemption Inc. (2022), which explore how businesses can ethically reinstate and empower employees facing challenges. His work bridges faith-based principles with practical managerial strategies, emphasizing servant leadership and workplace wellness.
His academic contributions include peer-reviewed articles in journals like Journal of Biblical Integration in Business and chapters in edited volumes such as The Palgrave Handbook of Servant Leadership. He has presented extensively at conferences like the Christian Business Faculty Association (CBFA), winning multiple awards for his research.
Awarded the 2017 Chancellor’s Award for Excellence and the 2016 Dean’s Award for Teaching, Bucci is also an ordained minister with over 30 years of experience in Human Resources and organizational training. He advocates for redemptive managerial practices that align business ethics with spiritual values, influencing both academia and industry.
