Joseph Grochowalski

Joseph Grochowalski is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Fordham University's Gabelli School of Business and New York University's Graduate Psychology Program. He serves as a psychometrician at the College Board and was formerly the acting director of Brooklyn College's Children and Youth Studies Program. His research focuses on educational psychology, neuropsychological assessment, and psychometric methodologies in medical education and neuroimaging.

• Education Background: Graduate degrees in applied sociology (specializing in socialization and consumer behavior) and psychology.
• Research Interests: Detecting group cheating in standardized assessments, latent psychometric profiles in Alzheimer's populations, and reliability/validity of depression scales. Integrates structural neuroimaging with psychometric analysis.

Teaches courses in statistical methods (ANOVA, regression/multivariate statistics) and psychometric assessment at the graduate level. Prior to academia, worked in media market research for 6 years and maintained a career as a professional musician and portrait painter.
