Joseph Franco is a Full Professor in the Department of Psychology & Mental Health Counseling at Dyson College of Arts and Sciences, Pace University, where he also serves as Senior Advisor to the Provost. He is based on the Pleasantville campus and has held significant leadership roles including Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, Program Director, and Director of Clinical Field Supervision for the Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling.

He has also been actively involved in university governance, chairing the Westchester and Dyson Faculty Councils and serving on tenure, promotion, and sabbatical committees.
He maintains active clinical licensure and certification as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (NYSLMHC), Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), and Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). His professional service includes leadership roles in the New York Mental Health Counselors Association (NYMHCA) and the New York Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (NYACES), where he served as Downstate President and held national office.
