Joseph Forte is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Rivier University, specializing in the epistemology, ethics, and metaphysics of Plato, with a focus on hope and psychagogy in Platonic myths of the afterlife. He also contributes to research on Aristotle, the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, and the value of humanities education.
