Joseph Elijah is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Pharmacy and Health Systems Sciences at Northeastern University and a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist in Gynecologic Oncology at Massachusetts General Hospital. He holds a Doctor of Pharmacy (with Highest Distinction) from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences (Summa Cum Laude) from Oakland University. He completed PGY1 and PGY2 residencies in hematology/oncology.
Dr. Elijah's research bridges clinical practice and oncology pharmacotherapy, focusing on:
- Real-world safety/efficacy of immunotherapies and oral oncolytics
- Solid tumor malignancies and targeted therapies
- Pharmacotherapeutic outcomes in special populations
His recent publications (2022-2024) demonstrate a strong emphasis on real-world clinical applications, including pharmacotherapy optimization for breast/lung cancer, CFTR modulators in special populations, and toxicity management.
