Joseph E. Stiglitz is a Nobel laureate economist currently serving as a Professor at Columbia University, Chief Economist at the Roosevelt Institute, and co-chair of the OECD's High-Level Expert Panel on Measuring Economic Performance and Social Progress. He was awarded an honorary Doctor Honoris Causa by École normale supérieure de Lyon in 2019.
