Dr. Joseph Bowen is a Lecturer in Moral and Political Philosophy at the University of Leeds, School of Philosophy, Religion and History of Science. He specializes in rights theory, duties to rescue, just war theory, and legal/moral philosophy. He directs the Centre of Aesthetic, Moral, and Political Philosophy and the MA in Global Ethical Challenges, and serves as Deputy Director of Graduate Studies (Philosophy).
