Joseph A. Petrillo is a Professor of Mathematics and holder of the Sanford S. Cole & Frances Halderman Cole Chair in Applied Mathematics at Alfred University's College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. He specializes in Algebra, Finite Group Theory, and Mathematics Education. His research focuses on subgroup properties, subgroup lattices, and direct products of groups, alongside innovative calculus pedagogy.
