Josep Pintó Fusalba

Josep Pintó Fusalba is a full Professor of Physical Geography at the University of Girona since 1993. He serves as Director of the Landscape Analysis and Management Laboratory (LAGP), a consolidated research group recognized by the Generalitat de Catalunya. He holds a PhD in Geography from the University of Barcelona (1993) and has been Visiting Professor at the National Autonomous University of Costa Rica since 2004.

Recent publications analyze coastal management strategies, vegetation dynamics in tropical and Mediterranean ecosystems, climate change impacts, and landscape aesthetics. They often employ geospatial analysis and historical data to assess environmental changes.
