Josep Duran Carpintero is a University Professor at the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Sciences, University of Girona, with a career spanning since 1991. His work focuses on transition metal catalysis, particularly platinum-, rhodium-, and palladium-based catalysts, and he co-leads innovative chemistry outreach initiatives.
