Jose Soto

Jose Soto is a Professor of Psychology at Pennsylvania State University, where he serves as Associate Department Head for DEI and Interim Co-Director of Clinical Training. He directs the Culture, Health and Emotion Lab, a key component of Penn State's top-ranked Clinical Psychology Program.

Dr. Soto's research focuses on cultural and contextual influences on emotional functioning, mental health, and well-being, particularly in marginalized groups (racialized/minoritized individuals, sexual/gender minorities).
