Jose Pachano

Jose Pachano is a Researcher at the University of Navarra, affiliated with the College of Architecture and the Department of Theory, Projects and Urbanism. He is also associated with the Institute of Biodiversity and Environment (BIOMA) and the SAVIA Research Group, focusing on environmental sustainability, housing, industrialization, and architecture.

• Research Interests: Sustainable architecture, building energy modeling, climate equipment calibration, urban planning, environmental engineering, and architectural technology.

His doctoral thesis, "Calibration of climate equipment in detailed energy models (white box)" (2024), was supervised by Dr. Carlos Fernández Bandera and Dr. Juan Bautista Echeverría Trueba. He contributes to projects at the intersection of energy efficiency and architectural design.
