Prof. Jos de Keijser is a Professor in Clinical Psychology and Experimental Psychopathology at the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences in the UK. His research focuses on grief, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and traumatic bereavement, contributing to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to mental health. He has published over 100 works, including studies on prolonged grief in parents who lost children and the psychological impact of traumatic events like the MH17 disaster.
Research interests include grief mechanisms, anger in bereavement, and mental healthcare delivery. Recent work explores victim personal statements in court settings and client feedback systems in Dutch outpatient care. He frequently collaborates internationally, with projects in the Netherlands and beyond.
