Jos Paulusse

Jos Paulusse is an Associate Professor at the University of Twente, leading a research group within the Department of Molecules and Materials under the Faculty of Science and Technology. His career spans postdoctoral work at UC Santa Barbara, assistant professor roles at Wageningen University and Eindhoven University of Technology, and a part-time appointment at the University Medical Center Groningen (2016–2020).

Education:

• MSc in Homogeneous Catalysis and Coordination Chemistry (1995–2002), Eindhoven University of Technology

Research Interests focus on designing well-defined polymer nanogels for drug encapsulation and controlled release, silicon nanoparticles for hybrid imaging modalities, and applications in early disease diagnosis and treatment. His work bridges polymer chemistry, biomaterials, and medical imaging.
