Jorinde Voigt

Jorinde Voigt is a Professor of Painting and Drawing at Hochschule für bildende Künste Hamburg (HFBK Hamburg), where she has been a faculty member since 2024. Previously, she held a professorship for conceptual Drawing and Painting at Akademie der Bildenden Künste Munich from 2014 to 2019. Her academic work focuses on experimental approaches to visual arts and contemporary artistic practices.

Her research interests span conceptual art, drawing as a critical practice, and interdisciplinary methodologies in fine arts. Voigt’s educational background includes a Meisterschülerin in Visual Culture Studies at UdK Berlin (2004), Erasmus program at Royal College of Art London (2001), and foundational studies in Visual Culture and Photography at UdK Berlin (1999-2004).
